InFocus Introduces Newest Meeting Room Projector in the ASK Proxima Product Portfolio
WILSONVILLE, Ore. --(Business Wire)-- June 9, 2004 -- New ASK Proxima C170 Enables Users to Project from a Standard USB Port and Includes User-Requested Ease-of-Use Features
InFocus(R) Corporation (Nasdaq:INFS), the worldwide leader in digital projection technology and services, today introduces its newest meeting room projector, the ASK Proxima(R) C170. The new projector offers powerful performance and flexibility, and includes an embedded PC-Free Playback system that allows users to easily project .jpg images from a USB flash drive with the freedom of not needing a computer or CD drive.
The ASK Proxima C170 features automatic vertical keystone and ceiling detection enabling it to be easily transported or installed in business, government or education settings. Additionally, it has the latest generation DLP(TM) technology from Texas Instruments(R), the DDP2000, 2000 lumens of brightness and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 to provide powerful performance at an affordable price.
The ASK Proxima C170 also includes a software utility that can be used to easily convert documents into high-quality .jpg images with one click in order to load on most industry standard USB flash drive. To provide additional value and enable IT personnel to manage resources more efficiently, the ASK Proxima C170 also is compatible with InFocus LiteShow(R) wireless module, and networked control capability through InFocus ProjectorNet(TM) software.
