CNG-Online Document Management Solution Now Available

By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Cabinet NG, an automated document management and workflow solution provider for small enterprises, has announced today the immediate availability of CNG-Online. Positioned as the industries most comprehensive and flexible hosted document management solution, CNG-Online offers the security, availability and ease-of-use pioneered by CNG-SAFE.

Shared Access Filing Environment, or CNG-SAFE, was designed to help meet the document management needs of most companies. Offered as a SaaS (News - Alert) solution, CNG-Online provides an easy way for businesses to benefit from best-in-class document management, eliminate paper piles and automate workflows firm-wide.

CNG-Online, now part of Cabinet NG’s product portfolio, is positioned as providing customers with the choice of running CNG-SAFE document management software in online or local environments.

“We chose CNG-Online because it gives us all the benefits of paperless processes without the hassle and expense of managing the solution in-house,” said Scott Mecham, CEO, Sawtooth Securities, in a Monday statement.

“CNG-Online provides worry-free backups, data protection and disaster recovery. There is no risk of internal sabotage or errors, the solution is fully compliant, and with a minimal outlay of cash, we can focus on our business, not technology. Plus, it’s flexible. Cabinet NG gives us the option of bringing the server in house and using the same software in a traditional manner if we decide to go in that direction.”

With CNG-Online, the small enterprise no longer must worry about administration, backup or software configuration. The look and feel of this application is the same as the CNG-SAFE, ensuring that small enterprises can immediately take advantage of the efficiencies and productivity gains of CNG-SAFE as an Online service rather than a software purchase.

“CNG-Online lets customers with different needs use CNG-SAFE as it best fits their business requirements,” said Andrew Bailey, President, Cabinet NG, in the Monday statement.

”A hosted solution – software as a service (SaaS) -- is the wave of the future because it offers the small enterprise complete choice in how they deploy, manage and pay for technology. Cabinet NG is committed to continuously providing customers with the best in document management, delivered any way they want.”

Cabinet NG has done well to recognize the most significant needs within small and medium enterprises. This segments of the market are rapidly growing and developing a solution that meets the dynamic needs of these business, while also offering the scalability necessary to be able to change and adapt will help to drive dominance for Cabinet NG in the market.

As a hosted solution that can meet both functional and budgetary needs, is sure to draw attention. The ease of integration and familiar use will most certainly drive adoption.
