Egnyte reportedly says that its newly released file server solution will turn Netbooks into a mobile office.

 

Netbooks are kind of ‘Portable PC’ mini laptops. Their compact size and low cost have drawn customers, but their basic feature set, limited performance and small hard drive have made them unsuitable to process complex office functions.

 

Egnyte’s new file server for Netbooks will provide unlimited online storage, as well as the ability to easily and securely access and share files, anytime and anywhere. Small and medium business users will now get a compact mobile office which is also cost-effective and efficient.

 

The company provides on-demand file server solutions for small businesses and professionals.
