SplendidCRM Software Goes Live with Cost-Effective Software-as-a-Service

By Tim Gray, TMCnet Web Editor

SplendidCRM Software has launched its Live Software-as-a-Service platform designed to provide cost-effective CRM services on an all-Microsoft (News - Alert) 64-bit technology stack.

The North Carolina-based company’s growing open-source CRM platform has over 100,000 downloads, 5,000 installations and 126,000 Google (News - Alert) AdSense page impressions per month, according Paul Rony, president of SplendidCRM.

"We have been waiting for the right time to offer hosting services,” said Rony. “Microsoft has helped us select the right time with their new BizSpark startup program."

The Microsoft-centric CRM solution for open-source provides three levels of service:
Community Live, Professional Live and Enterprise Live.

"SplendidCRM Software has been a Microsoft Certified Partner for several years as well as a Microsoft Hosting Partner, but this new BizSpark program will accelerate our entry into Software-as-a-Service and dramatically reduce our startup costs,” said Rony. “We intend to pass these savings on to our customers."

SplendidCRM is now live in an all-Microsoft Windows Server 2008 64-bit environment with SQL Server 2008 64-bit Enterprise on its database servers.

While the traditional CRM is the processes a company uses to track and organize its contacts with its current and prospective customers, the SplendidCRM Software is designed to function on several levels for different size outfits.

The starter package, Community Live, was designed for small companies that looking to build core CRM modules such as Accounts, Contacts, Leads and Opportunities.

Professional Live is for companies that need Order management and Reporting.

Enterprise Live is for companies that need a powerful CRM with full workflow capabilities. Enterprise Live also includes the ability to receive PayPal notifications and import old PayPal transactions so that eBay (News - Alert) sellers can immediately benefit from the use of the CRM.

"BizSpark addresses a fundamental challenge facing startups; affordable access to full-featured tools and technologies that help turn great ideas into a thriving business," said Rich Kramarik of Research Triangle Business Advisors, a BizSpark Network Partner. "In this case the benefits will also be passed on to the end user, in the form of cost reductions, and everyone wins."

SplendidCRM Live pricing is $10/user/month for Community Live, $20/user/month for Professional Live and $30/user/month for Enterprise Live, which is available at https://live.splendidcrm.com.
