Paglo Launches Partner Program to Enhance Remote IT Management

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

Information Technology search engine Paglo announced a new partner program for IT managed service providers (MSPs), resellers and value added retailers (VARs).

The new program called “Impact Partner Program” enables IT administrators and consultants to automatically discover all of their client’s IT data and proactively solve their computer, network, and security problems. The service is delivered as IT management software-as-a-service (SaaS (News - Alert)) and enables users to benefit from the community and the contributions of their peers through Paglo share-it.

The program is offered free of cost without any minimum commitments or start-up fees, and pricing starts at $1 per managed device per month, the company said.

Impact Partner Program provides complete IT management platform to remotely manage every aspect of IT, including asset discovery, server monitoring, network management, and configuration change tracking.

The multi-tenancy feature of the service allows consultants to manage all clients and data through one master account via a Web interface. The service also enables them to buy a plan and apply the “devices” against multiple clients and switch them around as needed.

The program helps consultants automatically discover and track all networked devices running in Windows, Unix/Linux, and Mac. They can also set alerts to get proactive notification about any possible failure in the system and start monitoring them within minutes.

“Paglo is the single IT management platform MSPs need to deliver outstanding service and expand their business,” said Paglo CEO, Brian de Haaff, in a statement. “Paglo automatically collects all of the IT data and provides a search engine for consultants to use to instantly solve problems and visualize what’s happening on an ongoing basis.”

“The formation of this program further focuses the company on supporting MSPs and helping them to reduce their operating costs and increase the number of clients they can profitably serve,” Haaff said.

Dempsey Bluevar partner, Aaron Biehl said, “We have used tons of tools in the past to manage our client’s IT environments, but when we saw Paglo for the first time, it was a ‘no-brainer’ to immediately sign up and start using it.”

Paglo tool is simple to deploy, can be accessed from anywhere, and requires no costly server infrastructure, Biehl added. Apart from these, Paglo is on-demand and offered on a pay-as-you-go basis at comparatively lower cost.
