ShareMethods Unveils ShareSpaces

Bringing a brand new product to its suite of on demand collaborative document management services, ShareMethods has debuted ShareSpaces. With ShareSpaces, a company can let its employees share important documents throughout its ecosystem.

In today’s business world, having the right information at the right time can be the difference between success and failure. Companies need to share sensitive information with their employees and customers spread across the world. While this has been facilitated by advanced communication systems, the possibility of data leakage is also a matter of concern for companies.

With ShareSpaces, companies can connect to everyone in the sales and marketing value chain and create document categories as well as invite users with defined roles for collaboration with a fully brand-specific ShareSpaces using three step wizard. ShareSpaces also include support for document versioning, workflow and community features such as rating, reviews, and tagging.

“Content and document sharing is an essential aspect of most business processes, and ShareMethods' mission is to make that function as integrated and efficient as possible no matter who is involved or where they happen to be located,” said Eric Hoffert, co-founder and CEO of ShareMethods. “ShareSpaces uniquely blend social content sharing with enterprise management to enable an online environment where organizations can break down business boundaries.”

ShareSpaces offers features such as Business Partner ShareSpace where customers can support sales activities and maximize revenue from partner sales by interacting with partners and resellers including exchange of sales, marketing, and product documents.

Back September, the company entered into three new contracts from Coverity (News - Alert), AmeriNet, and Portland Community College. These customers picked ShareMethods to securely create, manage, and share sales, marketing, and support documents on-demand via a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) solution.
