Mechanics Bank Selects GMT's SaaS-Based Workforce Management Solution



Mechanics Bank reportedly has selected GMT’s On-Demand to satisfy its branch workforce optimization requirements.

 
Company officials said that GMT Planet workforce management solution, GMT On-Demand is a full-featured workforce management and performance optimization solution offered as a Software-as-a-Service model.
 
Mechanics Bank, headquartered in Richmond, California, serves neighboring communities through its network of 32 retail branch offices.
 
Founded in 1905 to serve railroad workers in Contra Costa County, Mechanics Bank provided a valuable service to these workers at a time when banks were few and far between and typically served only the privileged class.
 
“Our core philosophy is to take care of our employees and, as a result, they will take care of our customers,” said Rauly Butler, senior vice president of branch operations for Mechanics Bank.
 
Butler said that what differentiates Mechanics Bank is the experience level of the employees and the commitment to its customers and the communities it serves.
 
He said that it was clear to the bank that it needed a solution that would help it to reduce wait times in the office on busier days, ensure the right level of staff was available on slower days and provide retail office employees with ready access to their dynamic schedules.
 
Butler said that after a thorough evaluation of other solutions, the bank selected GMT based on the comprehensiveness of their offering and for their reputation for delivering on the promise.

Angove said that GMT On-Demand provides an attractive alternative for those institutions with limited capital budgets that otherwise would not be able to avail themselves of the benefits of workforce management and performance optimization.
 
GMT Corp., a major player in enterprise workforce management and performance optimization solutions, recently announced that Advocate Medical Group, physician group practices in the Chicago area, has reported achieving significant operational improvements through its use of GMT Planet.
 
With GMT Planet – the company’s workforce management solution – AMG was able to boost service quality and associate satisfaction while also dramatically reducing costs associated with its contact center operations and beyond, GMT officials claimed.
