Messaging and Web security services provider, AppRiver, has unveiled a new security portal, my.appriver.com, which provides the company’s extensive suite of e-mail and Web security solutions through a convenient Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) delivery platform.

With a new user interface, AppRiver simplifies the management of messaging environments for including e-mail hosting, e-mail security, archiving, encryption and Web protection. Now, customers can control multiple accounts and even customize the interface for their needs.

“Managing e-mail security, archiving and encryption, and Web protection can be a daunting task for businesses with smaller IT departments,” said Michael Murdoch, CEO, AppRiver. “Due to a high level of customer feedback, our portal has been designed to facilitate these mandatory undertakings in a cost-effective model.”

AppRiver’s new user interface eliminates the complex processes that businesses face as they manage their messaging environments.

Recently, TMCnet reported that Appriver partnered with Voltage Security, a provider of information encryption, and added the Voltage Security (News - Alert) Network to its line of managed e-mail services. Together, the companies expect to address company demands for improved implementation of data protection across their extended business partner network.
