MessageSolution Releases SaaS Version of Enterprise Email Archive

MessageSolution (News - Alert), Inc. has announced the released of a Software as a Service (SaaS) version of their MessageSolution Enterprise Email Archive offering.

MessageSolution's SaaS (News - Alert) edition is designed to be installed on both Linux and Windows operating system platforms, giving email hosting companies more options for supporting a variety of enterprises and for optimizing operations costs.

"MessageSolution was the first archiving solution provider to deliver an onsite archiving software solution for Linux, so branching into the rapidly growing realm of SaaS was a natural expansion for our solution's architecture," said Jeff Liang, chief technical officer, MessageSolution.

MessageSolution's products enable organizations to mitigate risk, reduce costs and storage requirements, optimize server performance, and comply with industry and federal regulations.

Liang said that MessageSolution's next-generation archiving technology, industry-leading scalability, and support for all major email servers and operating systems provide an extremely powerful, flexible, yet cost effective archiving solution for email and hosting service providers.

In addition, with MessageSolution's onsite and hosted archive offerings, organizations can choose an archiving solution that can evolve with the organization's changing needs.

"For example, future policy changes may require bringing the archive in-house or a need to reduce IT staff workload may require the in-house team to outsource archive management to a hosted model. With MessageSolution, during times when organizations have these pressing concerns, they don't have to worry about finding a new archiving solution," Liang said.

With Linux support capabilities, the offering can also help email hosting companies operate SaaS email archiving at a much lower cost so they can recognize higher ROI.
