LTech, a technology integrator specializing in connecting business to the cloud, has reportedly signed a partnership agreement with
RightScale, Inc., a provider of cloud computing management solutions.
As per the terms of the agreement, LTech will offer RightScale’s Cloud Management Platform to customers enabling them to reduce the cost and complexity of enterprise cloud computing. This partnership is designed to strengthen LTech's cloud offerings, including architecture, development and deployment of highly scalable enterprise applications.
"Integrating the RightScale Platform into our cloud offering will help us manage multiple, large deployments with greater efficiency and at lower cost," said Ed Laczynski, chief technology officer at LTech, in a statement. "Many of our enterprise customers are looking to scale up their cloud computing initiatives and we're pleased to partner with RightScale to meet this growing demand."
Cloud computing is a technology where resources are provided as a service over the internet. Established in 2006, RightScale has been offering a fully automated management platform that is stated to deliver scalable, cost-effective, on-demand power of cloud computing, while providing complete IT control and transparency. With the RightScale Cloud Management Platform, customers can more easily deploy and manage business-critical applications on the cloud with new levels of automation, control, and portability.
LTech recently leveraged the RightScale platform to deploy and manage GettingHired.com, a leading portal for Careers and Community for People with Disabilities, on Amazon EC2. This allows GettingHired.com to quickly scale for growing traffic while minimizing infrastructure cost.
"Moving to the cloud will allow us to save money on infrastructure and bandwidth as we roll out rich media applications and continue to expand our user base," Frank Weichmann, chief information officer at GettingHired.com.
"Having LTech as our strategic partner and using the RightScale platform we were able to achieve our launch with the knowledge we can quickly scale our offerings based on need and demand."
"Through our partnership with LTech more customers will be able to take advantage of RightScale's continuing innovation in automated cloud management. LTech has proven they have the depth and experience to deliver the scalable, on-demand power of cloud computing to their clients," said Michael Crandell, chief executive officer at RightScale, in a statement.
Back in January, LTech had signed a merger agreement with The Matlen Silver Group Inc., a business and technology solutions company for Fortune 500 companies. Since the merger, LTech has been providing Matlen Silver's clients with cloud strategy and deployment services.
"RightScale simplifies and centralizes cloud infrastructure deployments and management. It would be very difficult and costly to manage multiple deployments and customers without RightScale," added Laczynski.
