SigmaQuest and Enterasys/Siemens (News - Alert) Enterprise Communications have announced they inked a multiyear purchase agreement.

 

As per the agreement, SigmaQuest’s OnDemand SigmaSure software will help Enterasys to manage and track the quality of its network switching, routing and security systems.

 

Brad Martin (News - Alert), vice president of engineering at Enterasys acknowledges the network to be one of the most important infrastructure components for an enterprise in today’s business world. He also noted the growth in product warranties and expected life spans and stressed the importance of understanding product quality in a highly critical business activity.

 

They are pleased with SigmaQuest solution which provides comprehensive views of quality throughout every phase of their product lifecycle. This product is especially useful for installed products as it helps to determine where and when issues develop and the root cause.

Under the agreement, Enterasys will use SigmaQuest’s Manufacturing & Test Insight, Repair Insight and Return Material Authorization (RMA) Insight modules as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)), Cloud Computing.
