nGenera Introduces New Collaborative Enterprise Management Solutions

nGenera has introduced four new end-to-end Collaborative Enterprise Management Solutions that deliver greater efficiency, employee and customer engagement and innovation to the enterprise. The nGenera (News - Alert) Collaboration Platform 3.0, a fully-featured cloud-based platform that hosts a suite of collaborative applications, which power nGenera's CEM Solutions, was also released.

nGenera's CEM solutions begin with thought leadership and innovative research which provides executives with the knowledge and tools to select and drive the right initiatives. Each solution consists of a new set of collaborative applications on a common platform. The collaborative strategy and implementation services provide guidance to maximize the results of every initiative.

According to David Johns, senior vice president, chief information officer and head of shared services for Owens Corning, the firm partnered with nGenera on its collaboration initiatives due to nGenera's in-depth understanding of the business and their strong record of insightful research on Web 2.0 for the enterprise. In addition, the company also valued nGenera’s practical approach in helping customers realize business impact through collaboration.

The suite of outcome-oriented solutions that combine all the necessary elements of successful CEM include nGen Enterprise Collaboration, Collaborative Selling, Customer Experience and Talent Management. The nGen Enterprise Collaboration solution builds a collaboration roadmap by identifying high-value management initiatives within their enterprise and deploying them on a collaboration platform. The nGen Collaborative Selling, on the other hand, builds a collaborative selling channel across internal sales pursuit teams and external sales channels.

Meanwhile, the nGen Customer Experience will deploy collaborative processes to define, create, measure and improve the customer experience, whereas the nGen Talent Management solution will implement transformational approaches for managing the talent base of their organizations. Every CEM solution will be targeted at a specific executive role in the organization and deliver outcomes specific to that role and  line of business. These roles include executive, sales, marketing, HR and IT leadership.

The nGenera Collaboration Platform 3.0 consists of a widget-based collaboration architecture that provides a range of core collaboration-enabling components. The robust, open, enterprise-class platform provides global services for user, security, search and storage management.

The platform is compliant with OpenSocial standard to enable easy integration of third-party applications. The integrated collaboration and social data services feature provides all applications with access to collaborative components and social data. Every enterprise instance of nGen Collaboration Platform has a secure administrative capability that enables the configuration and management of provisioning, menus, messaging, groups, membership, users and mass on-boarding.

nGenera recently made headlines when it announced it secured $10 million in a new Series C financing round, TMCnet reported.
