WorkXpress, MicroVerticals Form Strategic Partnership to Offer Vertical Software Solutions

WorkXpress, a functional platform as a service (PaaS) without programming, has announced a new strategic independent software vendor (ISV) partnership with MicroVerticals.

MicroVerticals has over 25 years of consulting and software development experience in a range of industries. The company said that it partnered with Coghead in 2008 to redevelop the legacy applications from the ground up to bring the vertical markets up to date.

However, with the closing of Coghead, Company sought a new vendor that offered a quality SaaS (News - Alert)/PaaS solution equipped with UI environment and action-based logic.

“WorkXpress was a natural fit by offering intuitive and robust tools that lend to rapid application development,” said Michele Matyi, vice president of sales at MicroVerticals.

He said the short learning curve and full features of their PaaS service company’s application redeployment is back on schedule.

MicroVerticals said the partnership with WorkXpress will enable it to be in position to offer specific solutions. In addition, it will be able to support organizations of all sizes and offer low cost of implementation in a “very short timeframe” and “affordable monthly rates.”

“MicroVerticals ability and desire to provide customized business management solutions is a natural fit for our easy to use 5GL platform. We look forward to supporting them in meeting their goals,” president and CEO at WorkXpress.

With WorkXpress platform, non-programmers can create “limitless sophisticated business applications” using five building blocks in an intuitive, drag and drop, point-and-click, secure, Web-based environment.

Moreover, WorkXpress eliminates the need for coding, data modeling and database querying. Plus, it automates common systems administration tasks like maintenance or disaster recovery. These capabilities also eliminate need for additional hardware or software, said company officials.

Additionally, WorkXpress offers full integrations with other applications and Web-based technologies, including Skype (News - Alert), FedEx, Google Maps, currency conversions, Google language translation, FTP services, IMAP email services, and more.

MicroVerticalWith is expected to launch their new application later this year in the fall.
