Appirio reportedly
announced that
ServoTerra has deployed an asset planning application and Business To Business (B2B) trading exchange built exclusively on the former’s Force.com platform and by leveraging Appirio’s cloud computing capability.
Officials at both companies claimed that ServoTerra had given Appirio, its preferred vendor, only 12 weeks to design, develop and deploy a hardware asset planning application and B2B marketplace entirely in the cloud so that its customer base could continue achieving 35 percent higher return on average than other models, but at significantly higher speeds, with more agility and less application and data occupancy on their own systems.
ServoTerra, claim official sources, help their customers to dispose IT asset solutions, including Software as a Solution asset life cycle planning, virtual consignment, and environmental compliance tracking.
Similar to competitive applications, the company’s new solution delivers automated detailed activity recording, allows users to integrate to applications via a gateway and a structured,

Alert) is a Web-based application, which allows customers to use software via the Internet, freeing the customer from costs related to downloads, upgrades, software version control, and dependency on internal hardware.

This gives companies advance disposal information and allows for transparent and real time budget prediction, control and instant auditing.

according to a survey, yielded revenues of nearly $2.5 billion in 2008 and that translates to six and a half percent of networking Original Equipment Manufacturer market share. A majority of respondents claimed that since companies are refraining from buying product upgrades and investing in network migrations they are demanding second hand spares and guaranteed repair back-up for all pre-owned asset purchases.
salesforce.com claims that ServoTerra benefits in more ways because the new solution works seamlessly with ServoTerra’s existing Salesforce CRM application, has access to unlimited real time customization, workflow and approvals, powerful analytics, and provides it with a trading exchange available as a public facing Web space.
