Making SaaS Easy Corp. Aquires IAC-EZ

By Jayashree Adkoli, TMCnet Contributor

Making SaaS (News - Alert) Easy Corp., a provider of Software as a Service or “SaaS,” recently announced that it acquired IAC-EZ, an online accounting application specifically designed for entrepreneurs, sole proprietors, freelancers and micro-businesses.

“We chose IAC-EZ as our first Software as a Service product because it has a powerful offering, a dedicated customer base and unparalleled leadership that brought the application to the market quickly and efficiently,” Scott Myers, chief executive officer of Making SaaS Easy Corp. said in a statement.
IAC-EZ is a Web-based accounting application for bookkeeping that allows self-employed individuals and small business owners to manage their books in order to have better control of their business without learning accounting skills or knowledge.
Eliminating the need for an accountant, the IAC-EZ application was designed to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This feature makes it usable by entrepreneurs from anywhere in the world, IAC-EZ said.
In addition, the application features full integration with Freshbooks and automatically gets synchronized. It also generates easy-to-understand useful reports and can as well estimate upcoming tax payments. Data can be sent for tax preparation with just one click, IAC-EZ said.
IAC-EZ was developed by Heather Villa, a certified management accountant and Intuit (News - Alert) QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor.
According to Myers, Villa built IAC Professionals into an international accounting and consulting business. Her team will continue to build on success of IAC-EZ and will blaze a similar trail for future SaaS offerings, which will be made available through Making SaaS Easy Corporation.
“After considering several offers from companies who wanted to buy the application, we strategically chose the alliance with Making SaaS Easy Corporation to ensure the active participation of the original IAC-EZ team,” Villa said in a statement. “We remain dedicated to growing and perfecting this top-quality software and offering an easy-to-use service with unparalleled support for our users.”
According to Making SaaS Easy Corp., its SaaS services meet targeted business needs, either through build-from-scratch development or acquisition. The services offered by the company will be focusing on the architecture and administration of controls and monitoring systems to help clients achieve significant cost savings.
Myers said that his primary mission is to give his clients 100 percent by providing them with a system that is secure, reliable, cost-effective and efficient.
