SentryBlue Releases its Critical Incident Management Technology Solution

SentryBlue announced the availability of “SentryBlue CIM”, a comprehensive critical incident management (CIM) technology designed for private and special needs schools.

SentryBlue CIM provides a solution for administrators for streamlining their federal and state compliance paperwork processes and also simplify their critical incident management processes. The solution can be activated by schools within three days.

This application is new to special needs schools as most of them still rely on pen and paper to record critical incidents in their schools or may be using expensive software with less functionality.

Being a Web-based SaaS (News - Alert) (Software-as-a-Service) application SentryBlue CIM operates in “the cloud”. The school needs only a computer with Internet connection and a subscription for the service. This technology also provides a secure, redundant, off-site backup of all CIM data. School administrators can use the system to view the school’s incident and compliance record.

“We are providing special needs schools with access to today’s most powerful technology, offering administrators a unique solution to their critical incident management needs,” said George Deren, SentryBlue founder and CEO.

“SentryBlue CIM offers affordable online technological solutions, without the I.T. upkeep required by traditional software. SentryBlue CIM is designed to help improve the quality of special needs services, their students’ experience, and their overall business performance. In today’s economy, every dollar invested must produce a greater return on investment. SentryBlue CIM does just that,” he added.

The solution was developed by the National Association of Private Special Education Centers (NAPSEC) and a team of leaders in the technology, insurance and special needs fields. SentryBlue innovates, develops and distributes critical incident management, crisis planning, and emergency communication technology.

David Nastasia, a private and special needs schools consultant with more than 25 years of experience, explained, “Critical Incidents are inevitable. Sloppy reporting, tardy notifications, and incomplete reporting open a school to additional areas of risk and liability.  SentryBlue is the only Critical Incident Management System that I know of that can be customized to each school and their collaterals/stakeholders, assuring the right people are informed in a timely fashion of the school’s response to the Critical Incident.”
