Learn.com Picks VivaKi Nerve Center

Learn.com, a vendor of on-demand workforce development and productivity, has reportedly announced that the VivaKi Nerve Center, a core division of France's Publicis Groupe's VivaKi entity, chose the LearnCenter Platform for online training "to their global employees."

As opposed, presumably, to their extraterrestial employees.

VivaKi officials said they're expecting the software to provide savings in administrative time, such as time spent on completing training registration, as well as savings in travel and "just-in-time" training.

"We selected Learn.com because it will provide us with all the tools we need," said Barbara Jobs, vice president, talent and development, VivaKi Nerve Center, in a statement. She added that the product offers "the opportunity for us to add new components at no charge" and that it lets them "create different sub groups that can be controlled by each group within our ecosystem, each with its own look and feel."

The VivaKi Nerve Center is a core Publicis Groupe resource within VivaKi. Learn.com's products include the LearnCenter learning and talent management suite, WebRoom Web conferencing suite, PeopleCenter Application Builder, FormFlow Custom Form Creation and other products.

Recently TMCnet reported that Microsoft and Publicis Groupe announced a broad agreement to closely cooperate on three core objectives to help the emergence of the digital media world. "Focusing on content, performance and audience, respective teams will work to bring better value and more efficacy to their clients across the range of digital media experiences," Microsoft (News - Alert) officials said.

Through the Publicis owned studio PBJS, according to Publicis officials, and in partnership with the Vivaki Nerve Center, Microsoft will support a PBSJ-developed Content Studio to help enable large scale, global programming opportunities. Publicis Groupe clients will have first access to the programs delivered by the Content Studio.

The focus on audience is the creation of a customized VivaKi ad exchange for television advertising delivered via the Admira technology, developed by Microsoft's Navic subsidiary. This will help more "audience-specific" television buying by VivaKi, creating an audience on demand for television.
