Laerdal Medical Selects Knouen OfficeSync for Siebel

Laerdal Medical, a provider of healthcare solutions, has selected Knouen OfficeSync for Siebel to improve the accuracy of its sales funnel and forecast data.

Knouen Technologies officials said that Knouen OfficeSync for Siebel CRM, securely and seamlessly integrates Siebel CRM with Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook, and provides Laerdal an easier to use and friendlier interface to Siebel through one of the most widely used productivity applications, Outlook.

Officials felt that by allowing its territory managers, inside sales, field service engineers and education trainers to input key customer data using Outlook rather than Siebel, Laerdal will be better able to capture timely and accurate sales funnel and forecast data.

“We rely on the data in our Siebel CRM system to develop marketing campaigns, to allocate resources and to create sales incentive programs,” said Mike Evans, director of business analytics and planning, Laerdal Medical, in a statement.

Evans said that Knouen OfficeSync for Siebel will enable the company to efficiently serve its customers and allow for greater transparency of customer interactions throughout the organization.

“Knouen OfficeSync was purpose built to increase the adoption of CRM systems,” said Meetul Shah, CEO and co-Founder of Knouen.

Shah said that by allowing users to work in the applications they are most familiar with, companies such as Laerdal are better able to capture the customer information they need to manage their sales operations.

Knouen Technologies is an innovator of enterprise productivity solutions that increase the adoption of Oracle’s Siebel CRM.

Back in March, the company announced the release of Knouen OfficeSync v2.2.  The company claims that this version offers significant improvements in productivity and simplicity including a revised user interface and more intuitive functionality such as the NaturalCRM functionality and a host of other improvements.
