Savvis, Inc., a provider of IT infrastructure services, has reportedly signed an agreement with
TradeBeam, a provider of SaaS (
News -
Alert)-based global trade management solutions, for providing hosting services.
As per the terms of this agreement, TradeBeam's IT infrastructure will now be colocated in one of Savvis' state-of-the-art data centers that meet the Statement of Auditing Standards No. 70 Type II requirements, which ensures that proper procedures are in place to safeguard customers' financial data and also meets the requirements of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act for effective internal controls by public companies.
TradeBeam’s Global Trade Management software solution helps companies streamline their global trading processes. The solution is delivered through the software-as-a-service model and requires no hardware or software investments. This is said to significantly fasten ROI.
