Mezeo to Release Enhanced Cloud Storage Platform

Mezeo Software, a provider of deployable cloud storage solutions, has announced it will be releasing Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform v3.0 in December of this year. The upgrade consists of enhancements that offer users geographic options along with compatibility and access capabilities.

The Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform v3.0 provides policy-driven geo-location and geo-replication features that enable organizations to define where objects are stored and enables the distribution of objects across geographically distributed data networks to support business continuity initiatives.

The enhancements include additional compatibility with Amazon’s S3 APIs which allows organizations with applications for Amazon to migrate to the Mezeo-based cloud storage.

“We have gained significant traction in the IT service provider space and we expect the industry will be excited about these significant, new capabilities,” said Mezeo President and CEO, Steve Lesem.

“The cloud storage market space continues to mature, and this new release is a reflection of what our service provider customers need to be successful. It is about helping service providers solve their unique business challenges. The Mezeo solution provides options, complete security in a global business environment and a true Web-scale cloud environment, not just a clustered file system,” Lesem said.

Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform v3.0 is backwardly compatible which enables customers to seamlessly upgrade their present versions.

Also, the deployable platform for cloud storage enables IT Hosting providers, Managed Service Providers, SaaS (News - Alert) Providers, and converged Telcos to benefit from Storage as a Service solutions.
