New Accounting SaaS Product From Wolf Frameworks Targets Indian Accounting Fraternity

Bangalore-based Wolf Frameworks recently announced that eCounting Corporate Management Services (CMS) Ltd, a firm of Chartered Accountants providing services in the fields of accounting, taxation and audit for the past 15 years, has developed a completely customizable accounting SaaS (News - Alert) product called eCounting.

The new Book Keeping and financial SaaS application, which has already been adopted by more than 20 clients, is compatible with Wolf PaaS  and targeted at the Indian Accounting fraternity.

The application completely automates the book keeping and financial reporting processes from start to finish and promotes the use of contemporary paperless account processing techniques among patrons.

According to H.S. Jagadeesh, founder and CEO of eCounting, because the company’s operations were geographically widespread and they lacked complete accounting information, their growth was being inhibited.

“We were looking for an integrated solution that offered a customizable web accounting software which aligned to the Indian accounting & auditing practices with an OnDemand business model. Being an SMB we wanted a solution which was cost effective with minimal burden on our IT department,” Jagadeesh said.
Previously, eCounting CMS would obtain accounting information from clients by sending their accountants to sites and consequently, would prepare weekly MIS financial reports in Excel format -which would then be mailed out to respective management. This system was cumbersome and the company wanted to design a system that was simple and provided secure Web access for faster online updating and storing of financial information as well as a way to create real-time reports and analysis.

Wolf Frameworks was selected as the OnDemand SaaS Development Platform in order to utilize the SaaS business model and for the flexibility and cost advantages offered. eCounting business analysts worked intensively with Wolf’s team of specialists in a 4-day workshop and helped to greatly reduce the idea to market time.
