Orange Business Services, France Telecom Group’s division for worldwide enterprise communications services, will offer ScanSafe’s best-of-breed technology to its customers.

ScanSafe solutions keep malware off corporate networks and allow businesses to control and secure the use of the Web.

ScanSafe officials said that the company’s agreement with Orange Business Services (News - Alert) has already proved successful with a multi-national chemical corporation, choosing to implement the most scalable SaaS Web security solution.

 

With 45,000 employees dispersed across 80 countries, the organization required an effective solution, which was completely scalable and easily deployed and maintained across the global spread of its businesses.

Officials said that as a SaaS solution powered by ScanSafe, the new offerings from Orange require no hardware, upfront capital costs or maintenance and provide threat protection with zero latency.

 

As a result, officials said that the services increase productivity, reduce bandwidth consumption and offer a lower total cost of ownership than traditional hardware or software solutions.
