“Retaining and attracting quality talent is a fundamental part of our business strategy and with more than 50 percent of our employee base now located outside of the United States, it was important to find a talent solution that could keep pace with the evolving needs of our global workforce, taking into account the different cultural and geographical challenges,” said Paul Rostron, executive vice president, human resources, Sabre Holdings, in a statement.
Rostron said that Plateau’s Talent Management Suite will help the company develop, reward and retain the best employees across the globe by putting multi-lingual information and resources in the hands of the employees whenever they need them, via one integrated on-demand solution that is compatible with the future-state technology platform and the company’s commitment to personal data security.
“Global organizations like Sabre recognize the organizational efficiencies and consistency that an integrated talent management suite provides,” said Paul Sparta, chairman and CEO, Plateau Systems.
Sparta said that by linking employee learning, performance, compensation and
succession planning together in a unified solution and using iContent to manage and deliver learning content, Sabre will be able to advance its strategic talent management initiatives and map those initiatives to business performance and broader corporate goals.
Plateau Systems is a provider of enterprise-class SaaS solutions for talent management.
Back in June Plateau Systems had
announced the expansion of its iContent offering, adding the performance-based SkillBuilder CORE Learning System to its iContent solution to provide an integrated learning and assessment solution.
iLearn Solutions’ competency-based “Test-to-Learn” content system now includes CORE transferable job competencies, objective assessments and SkillBuilder ecourses. The result is an integrated learning offering designed to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the employee learning process.
