Dublin, Calif.-based enterprise and mobile software provider Sybase, Inc. has announced that its solutions Sybase (News - Alert) Afaria and SQL Anywhere will power software as a service device management and security solution from MobiDM, a Utrecht, The Netherlands mobile technology specialist.

 

MobiDM’s self-service management solution allows users to centrally install, secure and maintain mobile devices, making mobile security and device management more accessible.

 

The technology from Sybase will power MobiDM’s Web-based console that automatically manages routine system management tasks across all major mobile operating systems. The ready-to-go SaaS (News - Alert) device management solution does not require installation, thus expediting implementation and reducing the cost of mobile deployments.
