VCSonline Revenue Gets Boost from SaaS Solution

VCSonline, a St. Louis based enterprise and Software-as-a-Service provider reportedly announced that its Software-as-a-Service VPMi project management solution has recorded 30 percent increase in revenue in 2009.

An all-in-one Web-based project portfolio management solution, VPMi v4.5 is available onsite or via the Internet as a SaaS (News - Alert) offering for a small monthly fee per active user. The solution boasts features such as projects, portfolios, prioritization, programs, workplans, timesheets, document management, issues, changes, risks, earned value, resource management, dashboards, Microsoft (News - Alert) Project integration, Gantt views and customer billing.

A fast growing segment of online business solutions, VPMi v4.5 lets a company's teams, customers and suppliers to work together on project and resource management. The solution can be used without the installation of servers or configuration of software. Users don’t have to sign any contracts or maintain any minimum user counts. The per use billing is also very convenient.

"We are really proud of the 30 percent SaaS growth we have achieved in 2009 and the money we have saved our clients performing project and resource management over the last 11 years, but honestly this is just the beginning for SaaS and VCSonline," said VCSonline Co-Founder Jeff Pupillo in a statement. "People ask 'what is our secret' and it is simple. Provide customers with a free pilot, lower costs, no commitments, personal service, and the relentless release of new features that they tell you they really want. When you consider the success we are having in a severe recession and against the likes of the biggest software companies in the world you can see why we are bullish on the future."

Through its VPMi software, VCSonline has been catering to Enterprise clients include Scottrade, Express Scripts, 1-800-Flowers.com, Masco, Guitar Center, Monsanto, and other leading companies around the world.

Earlier this year, TMCnet reported that VCSonline has reported a 35 percent increase in revenues from their VPMi SaaS project management software for 2008.
