Intermedia Launches Exchange Hosting Industry's First 100 Percent Data Protection Guarantee

Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange hosting solutions provider Intermedia has announced the introduction of Exchange 2010 hosting services with 100 percent data security assurance.

The first of its type security assurance from a SaaS (News - Alert) provider, Intermedia is expected to increase the confidence level of hosting companies who always worry about the protection of vital business data.

According to Jeffrey M. Kaplan, managing director of analyst firm THINK strategies and founder of the SaaS Showplace said, “Whenever organizations entrust their data to a third-party, whether via a cloud computing service or a traditional outsourcing arrangement, it’s important to evaluate the vendor’s technical and operational capabilities to fully protect the data.”

“We recommend businesses carefully evaluate the vendors’ ability to verify they have the proper back-up and recovery systems as well as the policies in place to safeguard their records, such as Intermedia’s Data Protection Guarantee.”

The new Exchange 2010 is planned to work on DataEcho an exclusive patented hosting architecture developed by Intermedia - a set up that assures clients get the required protection for emails and vital industry data that is being hosted.

The patented DataEcho architecture is designed to save the client data during unforeseen outcomes such as failure of hardware, corruption in data base or disastrous loss to data center. The duplicate storing of critical data in other running data centers allows Intermedia to immediately restore the data allowing full functional data access to the clients.

“The cost of data loss to a business is too great not to be protected 100 percent,” said Jonathan McCormick, chief operating officer, Intermedia.

“Intermedia guarantees not only the reliability of our service, but the complete safety of our customers’ data. Our customers can have peace of mind knowing that their data and communications are protected from any eventuality.”
