launched three innovative OpSource Cloud partner programs. These partner programs offer incentives, discounts and technology on-ramps for individuals and companies of all sizes that are looking to enter the cloud computing space.
OpSource Cloud combines flexibility, availability and community of the public cloud with the security, performance and control the enterprise requires. It gives enterprise users a Virtual Private Cloud within the public Cloud, which lets them determine their degree of Internet connectivity. OpSource is offering a referral plan, SI/Developer/VAR discount program to take advantage of OpSource Cloud's power and speed up mass adoption of cloud computing.
The referral partner plan is open to any individual or company who helps sign up new customers. Users just need to encourage customers, partners or friends and family to create an OpSource Cloud account. The individual/company will earn 10 percent off their referral's first six month net fees while the referral receives 25 percent off their first month using OpSource Cloud. This creates a revenue stream for individuals interested in promoting cloud computing.
According to Steve Wagner, CEO, Servoterra, OpSource created innovative partner programs that help businesses make the most of what the cloud economy offers. The referral program helps bring powerful, cost-effective capabilities to its customers.
OpSource has also created a plan for system integrators, developers and value-added resellers to use OpSource Cloud as a platform to deliver their products and services. In order to participate, the firms have to declare their eligibility and sign-up online after which they will be automatically accepted into the SI/Developer/VAR program. The firms can then open an OpSource Cloud account and receive an incremental ten percent discount on all OpSource Cloud services they consume. Since the discount applies to all OpSource Cloud plans, it results in discounts of up to thirty percent.
The OpSource Cloud White Label Program speeds up time to market for companies looking to offer their own infrastructure as a service solution. The white labeled OpSource Cloud runs on OpSource infrastructure and includes re-branded OpSource Cloud software; support of the application and OpSource Billing CLM integration. This program includes a significant discount off OpSource's pay-as-you-go pricing based on volume as well as optional community support and website integration.
According to Richard Dym, chief marketing officer of OpSource, cloud computing has the potential to change the way technology is consumed by individual developers as well as large IT organizations. The partner programs help cloud proponents to build successful cloud businesses faster, while saving money. OpSource has essentially eliminated the need to invest in cloud development and has also created potential referral revenue streams.
