CCH has released its next generation ProSystem fx Suite, designed to connect clients, staff and information on a dynamic, centralized and integrated platform.

According to a release, the company has revamped the platform to work as both a software-as-a-service application and on-premise software -- and has re-built it from the ground up, with extensive customer input, to support the way people want to work today and the way firms will have to work in the future to remain competitive.


CCH (News - Alert) has added into the suite two new applications, ProSystem fx Workstream and ProSystem fx Portal, and also new versions of CCH ProSystem fx Tax, Document and Practice. The suite will feature a common client database, an administration manager, individualized dashboards, an improved user interface, and collaboration features.

The next generation ProSystem fx Suite is completely new and built with Microsoft's .NET (News - Alert) 3.5 Framework so it is fully scalable, easy to configure and flexible enough to host multiple tenants. It also offers seamless integration across ProSystem fx applications, as well as third-party applications.

In the release, CCH President Mike Sabbatis said the SaaS (News - Alert) model has many advantages and the company is pleased to deliver these benefits to customers. The suite opens a whole new world of productivity and accessibility allowing users to work anytime, anywhere. The CCH ProSystem fx suite acts as a catalyst to modernize the way financial professional work globally. Some of the many key advantages in deploying the suite are: users can automate their financial paper work speedily and accurately; virtually store, archive and retrieve billion of documents at a few clicks and save time, space and allow remote access from anywhere in the world; intelligently track and manage project that capture more billable hours faster; the saved time and resources can be redirected to develop and test strategies rather than reports writing; and execute operations in a stress free manner.

The new User Interface built into the suite ensures all of the applications share the same crisp text and streamlined look. A common look and feel across multiple Suite applications will help users get up to speed more quickly and improve their ease of use. In addition, ribbon-style menus leverage staff's familiarity with Microsoft (News - Alert) Office 2007.
