Rainmaker Releases New Version of ViewCentral SaaS Learning & Event Management Solution

Rainmaker Systems has announced the availability of its next generation ViewCentral 6.5 SaaS (News - Alert) Learning & Event Management (LMS) Solution for revenue and webinar/event management.

The new version features the integration of ViewCentral with salesforce.com CRM. Company officials believe that this will deliver “tremendous” value to ViewCentral clients who are salesforce.com users as it provides a real-time 360-degree view of customer training webinar/event activity, and attendance history.

Company officials said that this provides opportunities to sell additional training and product offerings, accelerating revenue generation. Moreover, the ViewCentral connector on AppExchange for LMS and Webinar/Event Management offerings is expected to facilitate exchange of information between salesforce.com CRM and ViewCentral.

Additionally, the new release also features amortization of revenue recognition, support for WebEx multi-day events, and training KPI reports for the LMS offering. Company officials said that the amortization and bundle revenue recognition tracking is an enhancement to ViewCentral’s revenue recognition functionality introduced in the 6.0 release.

“ViewCentral continues our commitment to support the education initiatives of our customers by delivering solutions to meet their training needs,” said Michael Silton, CEO at Rainmaker.

With ViewCentral 6.5, the company’s clients can now drive “significantly” more revenue from their training, events and webinar programs with improved productivity and reporting to drive the highest ROI, said Silton.

ViewCentral 6.5 is schedule to be available in December 2009.
