CORESense Unveils First SaaS-based Retail Management Software for Apparel and Footwear Retailers

CORESense, a Saratoga Springs, NY-based provider of software-as-a-service solutions for ecommerce and retail businesses, has announced the release of a new retail management software solution suite. The software with embedded capabilities for retail management is designed to offer a total solution to the businesses engaged in apparel and footwear retailing industry.

The new release of CORESense is designed to manage functions such as product stock creation, purchase, replacement of products, stock transfer, record management and reporting either in a single type business or in a retail chain type of business. The software allows apparel and footwear retailers to use the power of a web based application to manage all the grid-based stock dealings. The grid-based software solution offered by CORESense is first of its kind with exclusive inbuilt features for footwear and apparel industry retailers.

Other benefits include location management, supply category, class and subclass, department details, electronic data interchange (EDI) feature, official accounting procedures and other programs to encourage client’s fidelity. Also CORESense’s multi-channel ecommerce and cross-channel potentials are included free in the software.

'We have been working closely with leading specially apparel and footwear retailers on this ground breaking product for over a year and are pleased to offer it to our growing customer base and the small and medium-sized retailer (SMR) market', said Chris Martin, CEO of CORESense, in a release. 'Historically, access to a fully integrated end-to-end multi-channel retail management system capable of creating a competitive advantage was affordable only to larger big-box retailers. Small to medium-sized retailers (SMRs) simply couldn't compete. With this release CORESense has eliminated this gap.'

The new SaaS (News - Alert) release is at present available in beta version with a speciality retailer option and currently deployed by two multi-store chain stores. The full upgraded version is expected to be available during the early part of 2010.
