Philips Healthcare Deploys Callidus Monaco on Demand



Philips Healthcare, a company focused on delivering value throughout the care cycle both in the hospital and at home, will reportedly use Callidus Monaco's Objective Management solution to develop and manage its sales force.

 
Callidus Software (News - Alert), a provider of sales performance management solutions, signed a deal with the company in the fourth quarter of 2009. Its application will now aid the client to deploy and manage strategic sales objectives for their sales representatives in the United States.
 
Lorna Heynike, senior vice president of marketing at Callidus Software, said that the company is experiencing ongoing momentum with SaaS (News - Alert) Monaco sales performance management suite. He said management of sales objectives is as part of an integrated sales performance strategy and that it is critical to sales force optimization. Effective sales force management about accurate payment on transactions, as well as developing and managing strategic sales goals.
 
Monaco's objective management capabilities aids Callidus to deliver a unique solution that effectively develops and delivers sales success, Heynike said.
 
Objective management aids companies to broaden sales incentive plans and this in turn helps in stronger alignment of corporate objectives with sales behavior. Companies can use objective management to design and deploy pay-for-performance initiatives to every employee. This will encourage them to consistently and reliably deliver on business results. With objective management, employees have more time to focus on execution and impact of corporate objectives.

Callidus officials said that their service give actionable insight into sales execution and channel operations and provide the tools to fine-tune sales performance.
 
Last month, the company signed a partnership with Seven Seas Technologies, a provider of integrated business and technology solutions. Seven Seas Technologies has been signed to resell, implement and support Callidus Software’s sales performance management solutions in Africa.
