Unified IP business communications solution provider, Interactive Intelligence (News - Alert), providing unified business communications solutions for call centers, enterprise IP telephony, and business process automation, has announced the appointment of Michael Stelzer as its Australia territory manager.

In addition to responsibilities for new business development, Stelzer will also lead the development of Interactive Intelligence’s local partner channel.

Stelzer, with 15 years of experience in the contact center software industry, has served in various leadership roles at Premier Technologies, Aspect (News - Alert) Software, Genesys Labs, and TuVox, with sales posts with Point Information Systems, Astea International, and Fuji Zerox.

“Michael joins Interactive Intelligence at an exciting time of transformational growth for the company, marked by the recent acquisition of CallTime Solutions here in Australia,” said Brendan Maree, Interactive Intelligence A/NZ and Pacific managing director, in an ARN article.

In June, Interactive Intelligence hired Ryan Meegoda as its A/NZ marketing manager.
