Varolii Corporation (News - Alert), a provider of interactive text, voice and email communications for customers and employees, has received a 2010 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award by Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC (News - Alert)) for providing product innovation in its Healthcare Enrollment application, allowing healthcare companies to better interact and engage with their patients.
In a release, Andrea Austin, Vice President of Healthcare Business at Varolii, said, "Varolii is honored to be recognized by TMC with this award for the fourth consecutive year. Getting patients enrolled and actively engaged in wellness and disease management programs is one of the biggest problems that healthcare organizations face. The healthcare industry has an opportunity to embrace new technologies and approaches to patient engagement that can solve cost challenges, improve response rates and help patients live a healthier life. We are continuing to increase our focus on the healthcare industry to help drive positive patient outcomes with smart, personalized interactions. Earning this accolade for our Healthcare Enrollment solution is a testament to the innovation we're delivering to healthcare organizations and, ultimately, their patients."
The Varolii Healthcare Enrollment application provides HIPAA-compliant multi-channel interactions with patients. Leveraging the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News
- Alert)) application, healthcare organizations can enroll more patients and members in various healthcare programs.
Varolii Healthcare Enrollment application engages patients through text, phone or email. Two types of interactive conversations are involved in the process. The first is Engage, through which patients are informed about a program which can help them follow a healthier lifestyle and effectively cut down the risk of contacting any disease. It also offers patients with an option to speak with an enrollment specialist if they are keen on enrolling in the program and to receive personalized assistance. The second is Enroll, which provides patients with the option to enroll in a healthcare management or support program. Patients are provided with the benefits of the program and can opt to speak with a specialist.
Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), CEO of TMC, said, "Varolii was chosen to receive a 2010 Product of the Year Award for creating exceptional advancements in communications. The Healthcare Enrollment solution has shown benefits for customers and provides ROI for the companies that use it. Congratulations to the entire team at Varolii. I look forward to more innovative solutions from them in the coming year."
