Telcordia (News - Alert), a provider of mobile, broadband and enterprise communications software and services, announced it has been named the global market leader in Service Fulfillment for the sixth consecutive year by Analysys (News - Alert) Mason.
Analysys Mason's July 2011 report, Service Fulfillment Systems: Worldwide Market Shares 2010, identifies the leaders in the service fulfillment systems market. The report shares suppliers' worldwide market shares in sub-categories including Order Management, Inventory Management, Activation and Engineering Tools.
In addition to its overall leadership, Telcordia is also named as a market leader in three of the four sub-categories, with a "notable presence" in the fourth, according to Analysys Mason.
"In a steadily expanding space, Telcordia remains the overall global Service Fulfillment market leader for the sixth straight year," said Mark Mortensen, principal analyst, Analysys Mason, in a statement.
Telcordia is competing in a market that is expected to grow to $3.2 billion by 2014. Through its Telcordia Service Fulfillment solution, the company meets the demands of Communications Service Providers (CSPs) looking to realize the potential of new market opportunities, greater efficiencies and a better experience for customers.

Recently, Telcordia also announced that Telcordia Service Director has been awarded the 2011 NGN Leadership Award presented by NGN Magazine for outstanding innovation. Telcordia Service Director helps CSPs manage service quality through real-time detection and isolation of customer-impacting service events, so network, application or device related issues can be fixed before they affect the overall customer service experience.
