TRX Announces Release of TRAVELINX, New Travel Itinerary Management Solution, for Business Travelers



TRX, Inc., provider of travel technology, process automation, consulting and data services solutions, has introduced the TRAVELINX itinerary management solution for business travelers. The company’s latest offering has been developed to address the travel needs of business travelers and provides them with a secure environment for processing of traveler information. 


Designed as a virtual travel asset, the TRAVELINX itinerary solution converts information pertaining to airline tickets and booking, car rental, as well as hotel reservations into a mobile itinerary which can then be easily accessed online by the business traveler through a Smartphone.

TRAVELINX also offers additional capabilities which includes calendar synchronization, maps which include information about hotels and nearby areas of interest and road directions. Furthermore, the solution enables integration with TRX's automated expense management tool TRUEXPENSE, so users are provided with an optimized solution.

Through its integration with milesBlaster, recognized with 2010 PhoCusWright innovation award, TRAVELINX also enables business travelers to monitor and manage their frequent flyer miles all within a secure environment which replicates and adheres to the security compliance standards of the corporate structure.

TRX's TRAVELINX solution, while providing efficient data management and security includes capabilities which comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards, PCI (News - Alert) DSS, USEU Safe Harbor and US FISMA/NIST standards as well as HIPAA Standards.

In a release, Shane Hammond, president and CEO of TRX said that, “At TRX, we understand that business travel is not leisure travel, and for a corporation, security is paramount. That is why we designed TRAVELINX to bring the best of both worlds together - all of the business travelers' key information in an intuitive graphical interface at their fingertips, all the while backing the technology with TRX's rock solid data management and security foundation.”

TRX provides customers with software-as-a-service solutions which have been developed to provide support for tasks such as making reservations online and automating of travel processes. The company provides travel, business and government agencies as well as credit card issuing banks and agencies, and third-party administrators with on-demand technology applications.
