Cisco SPA 504G Now Interoperable with Wind Currents Communications V2VIP Business Calling Plans



Internet Phone Service Company Wind Currents Communications has added Cisco (News - Alert) SPA 504G IP all purpose business phone to its Portfolio of Solutions. The phone has been tested and approved for interoperability with the V2VIP Business Calling Plans.


Wind Currents Communications’ V2VIP or Voice and Video Internet Phone (News - Alert) service is a fully managed, hosted Voice over IP platform that provides monthly or annual calling plans for cost-efficient, feature-rich voice-and-video communication. All features of Cisco SPA 504G IP are certified to ensure full interoperability with this platform and is now available as an auto-configured, plug-and-dial solution.

The Cisco SPA 504G is a 4-line desktop IP phone with display, 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE), and dual switched Ethernet ports. It includes a full-duplex speakerphone with wideband HD audio capability and advanced acoustic echo cancellation. WCCI’s remote provisioning saves both the time and expense of managing, preloading, and reconfiguring customer premises equipment.

John Monahan, chief executive officer at Cisco said, “Cisco developed this phone with the Small Business in mind, and with excellent sound quality, relevant features, and ease-of-use this phone when combined with a V2VIP Business Calling Plan addresses the requirements of traditional business users, while exploiting the advantages of IP telephony.

Monahan also emphasized that V2VIP includes an Auto-Attendant and now offers two lines for the price of one, making V2VIP Internet phone service, video phones and IP phones smart affordable investments for single offices, companies and healthcare agencies to upgrade service, while slashing monthly telephone costs.

Recently, TMC (News - Alert) reported that Wind Currents Communication offers quality cost-effective products bundled with V2VIP services for small-to-medium businesses and the Telehealthcare industry. This enables videophones and other devices to work on IP networks enabling Telehealth to be delivered to patients in a cost-effective and proactive manner.
