- Alert) Connect Channel Partner, in a joint announcement with Imagine Technologies Inc., a provider of unified communications solutions and network infrastructure architecture, stated that the two companies have successfully completed their merger after completing required diligence reviews and transactions and singing of purchase agreements. The merger between the two companies has given birth to a new entity which will operate as Strategic Products and Services.
In a release, Jody GrandPre, former Imagine president and principle, said, "We have built a solid company and are proud to serve our valued clients with integrated and collaborative solutions. Through SPS, we are now able to leverage the expanded resources and scale to take our offers to the next strategic level. We strengthen the conversation and the value we add when we are able to address a client's global communication needs."
The two systems integrator companies offer global market presence as well as advanced technical capabilities and an extensive suite of managed services in addition to 24/7 technical services center. Imagine which was recently recognized as U.S. Channel Partner (News - Alert) of the Year by Avaya for Acquiring New Enterprise Customers has a consistently been awarded and recognized by its manufacturer and distribution partners.

- Alert) (SIP), Voice over IP (VoIP), managed services, video, consultative planning, management of telecom expenses, and in delivering monitoring services. The company has also been listed for five years in a row in the top 300 of the CRN VAR500 and took the 68th spot on the Fast Growth 100 list.

GrandPre will be appointed as sales director at the newly announced Mountain West sales office which supports the Colorado, Arizona, Idaho and Utah offices and will also continue to serve on the Avaya Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Business Partner Council. Imagine’s Paula Morton will be serving as a specialist in the SPS Contact Center Practice.
