Intelliverse (News - Alert) Telecom India, a provider of cloud-based communications solutions to businesses in the rapidly expanding Indian market, recently appointed K.V. Gopalakrishnan as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

In a release, Kevin Moran, CEO, Intelliverse noted, “We are delighted to welcome KVG to Intelliverse. With a strong track record in sales and marketing operations, he is an excellent addition to the Intelliverse team. Intelliverse holds a strong position in the market and we're excited to bring his skills to support the growing demand for cloud-based enterprise communications solutions in India.”

Gopalakrishnan, in his new role as CEO, will oversee the strategic direction of the company in India as provider of a complete, hosted cloud-based platform that integrates IVR, ACD and IP telephony into one solution.

With vast knowledge and expertise gathered from over three decades in information technology, telecom and professional services, Gopalakrishnan will help Intelliverse meet its set objectives. He will also play a vital role in strategic initiatives regarding M&A activities, joint ventures, financing, and other external company matters.

Prior to joining Intelliverse India, Gopalakrishnan held senior level positions in major telecom organizations, including Bharti Airtel (News - Alert), ACS India Pvt Ltd and Karuturi Telecom Pvt Ltd.
