According to a new research brief conducted by the Aberdeen Group, Callidus Software (News
- Alert), has maintained a top position in sales effectiveness and cloud computing.
The survey was conducted between September and October 2011 in order to get a better idea about the nature of sales performance management practices that other major sales organizations were adopting.
Findings revealed that the Callidus Cloud platform, an award-winning, multi-tenant SaaS (News
- Alert) infrastructure enables customers to derive 'unmatched competitive benefits' for the second consecutive year from its sales effectiveness solutions.
In addition, the study, authored by Peter Ostrow, vice president and group director, sales effectiveness, Aberdeen Group, revealed that CallidusCloud outperformed all other firms in the three major quota-related performance metrics.
Not only did the company's customers almost triple their revenues but achieved twice as high average deal sizes. Furthermore, they achieved sales rep turnover rates that were considerably less than that at all other firms.
According to Lorna Heynike, senior vice president, Marketing for CallidusCloud, the dynamics of sales performance were changing considerably. Companies were realizing that sales performance management needed to go beyond mere commissions. She urged them to invest in cloud and mobility solutions that helped them quickly ramp to full productivity and experience superior sales execution.
Heynike noted that the study revealed that Callidus' customers outperformed on all fronts and was a testament to the immense value of the CallidusCloud platform. Its comprehensive SaaS suite enabled companies to evaluate a credible sales performance strategy that helped businesses drive more effective sales.
