Cloud-based CRM and hospitality solutions provider Libra OnDemand is expanding its staff with the addition of two new directors.
The company announced that Jonathan Reynolds is joining the company as professional services director and Eric Oppegaard has been appointed to the position of marketing and communications manager.
Reynolds’ background encompasses experience with hospitality-based information technology. Previously, he was the director of information technology at The Setai South Beach by GHM, and Viceroy Miami. He also brings over seven years of experience from previous positions at MICROS Systems in senior project management and senior product specialist roles.
“I am jumping head first into showing existing and future clients the power of what Libra OnDemand offers...many are only scratching the surface of what we can really do,” Reynolds said in a company statement.
Oppegaard, who has over 10 years of experience in marketing and new media, previously held positions at The Walt Disney (News - Alert) Company, ESPN, Madison Ambulance, and Fairview Research.
“Recognized for his early adoption and insight into online communities and social media, Oppegaard provides guidance for the company and clients using these and other platforms,” according to the statement.
“The hospitality industry, and marketers in general, need to embrace social communication...if you are not talking about your brand in these spaces, everyone else will be,” Oppegaard said.
Libra OnDemand’s President Gregg Hopkins said in a company blog post that the additions of Reynolds and Oppegaard will help the company to grow its SaaS (News

“Jonathan and Eric are success oriented people that will contribute greatly to our team and help us exceed our goals both internally and externally as we continue to grow our organization,” Hopkins said.
Libra OnDemand is a SaaS application that is hosted and maintained in the cloud that provides the same functionality of licensed CRM solutions, as well as the security, reliability, and performance needed to improve customer operations.
A recent IDC (News - Alert) Software-as-a-Service Adoption study showed that 79 percent of companies are currently purchasing and/or reviewing software-as-a-service offerings.
Gartner (News
