ViaWest Announces Strategic Channel Partnership with Bridgepointe Technologies

July 30, 2012

Bridgepointe Technologies, an Internet and telecommunication service brokerage house, will start offering ViaWest's full range of solutions including colocation, hosting and managed services, which includes ViaWest's KINECTed cloud and storage offerings.

To this end, ViaWest has announced a strategic channel partnership with Bridgepointe Technologies. ViaWest is one of the largest privately held data center, cloud computing and managed service providers in North America. Bridgepointe is focused on selling the highest-quality data, voice, hosting and managed services.

“We are incredibly pleased to identify a partner that so closely reflects our core values and our strong customer focus,” said Monty Reagan, vice president of Channel Sales at ViaWest. “We know that our out-of-region data centers provide a viable secondary-site option for Bridgepointe customers in California. In addition, ViaWest's secure managed and cloud services are a proven benefit for companies whose data is the lifeline of their business.”

ViaWest and Bridgepointe Technologies share a commitment to strong customer service with similar go-to-market strategies, and offer a complementary product and services portfolio. Located in the San Francisco Bay area, Bridgepointe Technologies is an ideal partner for ViaWest’s target to expand its business on the West Coast.

ViaWest owns and operates 22 enterprise-class data center facilities in Colorado, Texas, Oregon, Utah and Nevada. The firm looks to augment its long-term financial strategy and planning.

“We have seen how well ViaWest handles our customers, both on the pre- and post-sales fronts,” said Scott Evars, cofounder of Bridgepointe Technologies. “ViaWest has super-responsive staff that is easy to work with. We are thrilled to know our customers are in such good hands. More importantly, we can also rest assured that the technology solutions are top-notch. We look forward to a long and productive partnership with ViaWest.”

ViaWest was recently in the news when the company added James D. Buie to the company’s senior management team. James D. Buie will hold the position of ViaWest’s senior vice president of Financial Planning and Analysis.
