Masergy Communications Intros Global Cloud Communications to Help Enterprises Solve Voice Integration Challenges

Masergy Communications has introduced Global Cloud Communications, a service that offers corporations hybrid voice solutions to simplify their migration from legacy PBXs to new cloud-based unified communications (UC) services.

The service is designed to help enterprises address the challenges of adding advanced voice technology and integrating it into other vital business processes – all while maximizing legacy voice infrastructure investments.

Solving these challenges creates the opportunity to position voice services as a strategic tool for any company.

This offering pairs Masergy's engineering expertise and advanced MPLS network with proven voice services to deliver custom-built solutions for global businesses. The service is based on Broadcore's (News - Alert) proven hosted unified communications platform, which has been integrated into the Masergy global MPLS network following Masergy's acquisition of Broadcore in July.

Global Cloud Communications include:

Masergy Consultation – strategic experts that work with each enterprise to outline their unique communications requirements and define the best cloud migration strategy to meet those needs. Masergy has more than 10 years of experience developing global application solutions for thousands of businesses.

Hosted Unified Communications (News - Alert) – cloud-based, enterprise-grade HD voice solutions with a multitude of hosted unified communications services. With this offering, enterprises no longer have to worry about the risks and costs associated with the deployment and maintenance of on-premise communications systems.

Intelligent SIP Trunking – cloud-based "trunks" connecting a business' PBX (News - Alert) hardware investment to Masergy's hosted voice services. Masergy then provides intelligent, feature-rich layering with the ability to add hosted unified communications services.

Extensive Suite of Available Features – mobility, global presence, instant messaging, texting, video calling and more, now made available to the business' employee base.

These hybrid solutions combine elements from Masergy's new Intelligent SIP Trunking and Hosted unified communications products to form a unique deployment plan for each client. Masergy's provisioning team then works with the client to implement the plan on Masergy's global service platform.

Recently, Masergy Communications entered a partnership with Fortinet (News - Alert) to launch a new Internet management service based on Fortinet's enterprise network security appliances.
