RingByName Unveils North American Value-Added Reseller Program

A value-added reseller (VAR) is a company that provides features or services to an already existing product. The company then resells that product in the form of an integrated product or complete "turn-key" solution. This practice is usually high in the electronics industry, where a VAR may sell a software application with the provided hardware.

Recently, RingByName, a Software- as- a -Service (SaaS) developer and Unified Communications (News - Alert) Service Provider, announced its North American VAR program. This partner program is expected to provide a boost to small and midsized companies that are looking to get a foot hold in the highly competitive cloud market.

The channel partners of this program get various benefits such as technical tools, training, and go-to-market resources. These tools will allow them to create and develop a managed service business, which will be based on the company's turn-key cloud-based communications solution. Code named Biz in a Box (News - Alert), this program will have interconnects, telecom agents, VARs, IT consultants, and technology companies as its partners, the company has stated.

“The RingByName Partner Program will be a game changer,” says Kent Terpe, director of Channels & Alliances for RingByName, “As the channel looks to cloud-based services to fortify their margins and customer bases, RingByName’s Biz in a Box allows VARs with new and existing clients in need of telephony services to add value, differentiate their solutions, and benefit from 3 incremental revenue streams (one time bounties, residual monthly commissions, and professional service fees).”

Recently, the company introduced its new North American Value-Added Reseller (VAR) program.
