TMCnet CaaS Week in Review

There were a lot of product and partnership announcements in the CaaS sector this week. Let’s take a look at what happened in the community with our regular week in review.

Concentric (News - Alert) Cloud Solutions announced its partnership with Virtual Hold Technology (News - Alert). Now, the company will offer customers cloud-based voice and Web callback solutions. In an effort to curb customers’ frustrations, the solution will give contact centers the ability to place callers in a virtual queue, while enabling the customers to hang up and receive a callback. Callers will no longer have to wait on hold for the next available agent.

In another partnership announcement, EVault partnered with Alcateia Group to strengthen its presence in Brazil. Alcateia will help EVault distribute the company’s cloud connected services, including disaster recovery services.

 The company offers secure and dependable cloud storage infrastructure and customers service.

In a product release, Infinite Convergence (News - Alert) launched its Enterprise Messaging Service, which provides enterprises with secure mobile messaging. This easy-to-use solution can be integrated with existing business apps and IT infrastructures.

Its wide coverage ensures that messages are securely sent and received.

“Text and multimedia messaging continues to be the most ubiquitous form of communication across the globe. EMS enables organizations to engage with their customers, employees and business partners in the most effective and compelling way,” said Anurag Lal, CEO at Infinite Convergence Solutions.

Lastly, Centuric introduced a new cloud PBX (News - Alert) phone system. Providing cost savings, the new phone system features an auto receptionist as well as quick and accurate call routing. The system not only connects users to multiple offices, devices and remote employees, but helps improve efficiency and customer service as well.

MegaPath Strikes Deal with GTT

MegaPath is one of the world's leading providers of voice, data, security and cloud solutions announced last week that it had made yet another move that will allow the firm to focus on the cloud.
