Ramco Systems Launches Ramco ERP on Cloud for iPad and Smartphones in Australia

December 17, 2012

Ramco Systems, an enterprise software company focused on enterprise cloud platform, products and services, launched Ramco ERP on Cloud for the iPad and other tablets and smartphones in Australia.

The company continues its cloud growth momentum by launching an ERP powered by Amazon Web Services (News - Alert) in the newly launched AWS Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region.

Officials with Ramco Systems said that with this new offering, customers in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific islands (ANZ) will be able to access the company’s comprehensive, cloud-based ERP solution that runs on AWS with data residing within Australian shores.

“Australia is the most mature market for cloud in the APAC region. We set up operations in the region to serve the local market with our suite of cloud-based offerings. Today, we are excited to have extended our customer offering to host Ramco ERP on Cloud in the new AWS Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region,” said Virender Aggarwal, CEO – Ramco Systems, in a statement.

“We believe the availability of a comprehensive ERP with flexibility to build industry-specific and Australia-specific features, available on the secure and reliable AWS infrastructure, will greatly benefit the growing business environment in ANZ,” said Aggarwal.

“We are excited that Ramco is growing its momentum on the AWS Cloud and expanding their offering for Australian businesses using our newly launched AWS Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region,” said Terry Wise, head of worldwide partner ecosystem, Amazon Web Services, Inc.

Wise said that Ramco’s innovative mobile platform for ERP on Cloud is a great example of how quickly AWS Partner Network’s Technology Partners can quickly grow their business by leveraging AWS’s global footprint.

TMCnet in October reported that Ramco Systems launched Ramco ERP on Cloud on Amazon Web Services  (AWS).

Officials with Ramco said that Ramco ERP on Cloud is built on Ramco VirtualWorks - an SOA-based, multi-tenant, model-driven and integrated virtual enterprise architecture that integrates the business processes and provides real time visibility into performance, along with unprecedented flexibility.
