VEXXHOST Extends Partnership with CloudFlare

December 20, 2012

HTML loading time is a highly important factor in the success of a website. And in the competitive world of the Internet, the sites that fail to load in a timely manner are almost as good as non-existent.

To tackle this problem, VEXXHOST, an online Web hosting and cloud hosting services company, has expanded its partnership with CloudFlare. With this, VEXXHOST will be the first hosting provider to offer CloudFlare's Railgun Web performance optimization technology, free of charge.

The new CloudFlare management portal was created by VEXXHOST from scratch, and is closely combined with cPanel. The management portal enables any user to sign up for CloudFlare and allows the services features, including Railgun, with just a few clicks.

In simple terms, the major job of Railgun is to make sure the connection between the client server and the CloudFlare network is as quick as possible.

How does Railgun achieve this? It uses the same technology used in video compression technologies and reportedly provides 99.6 percent compression ratio for previously unachievable Web objects.

“We’re excited to have VEXXHOST as the first CloudFlare Optimized Partner to go live. By providing Railgun for free to all their customers, VEXXHOST has established themselves as one of the fastest hosts on the Internet,” said Matthew Prince, cofounder and CEO at CloudFlare. “VEXXHOST implementation is incredibly smooth, making it easy for any website owner to install CloudFlare with just a click.”

Recently, the company introduced its high-performance and completely redundant cloud computing platform. The cloud technology is enabled by OpenStack, a highly scalable open source cloud operating system. With a list of templates constantly added, it provides highly popular templates, both Linux and Windows.

The VEXXHOST platform also offers special features not available with any other OpenStack cloud.
