Votacall Delivers Multisite Hosted VoIP System to Almeida & Carlson Insurance

Hosted VoIP provider, Votacall recently delivered a complete hosted VoIP phone system to Almeida & Carlson Insurance, enhancing the agency's communications at its three locations and providing connectivity to its mobile workforce. In replacing the agency's traditional phone system, Votacall was able to provide Almeida & Carlson with significant savings.

The issue the Almeida & Carlson Insurance Agency had stemmed from its need for multisite connectivity, which was possible with separate on-premise phone systems at each location connected by a traditional MPLS solution. However, this resulted in great expense each month after hardware maintenance, MPLS and standard carrier service and usage fees were factored in.

As such, Almeida & Carlson turned to Votacall's fully managed hosted VoIP phone system to deliver this same functionality in a far more cost efficient manner.

"The Votacall hosted VoIP PBX (News - Alert) allowed us to have the necessary features and functionality at a reduction of nearly 50 percent in monthly telecom expenses," said Sean Peacock, executive at Almeida & Carlson, in a statement. "With Votacall, we not only benefit from a reduction in expenses, we also get the peace of mind that our phone system is future proof and because it is a fully managed service, we can concentrate on our business while Votacall focuses on our telecommunications."

Another major consideration for Almeida & Carlson is a disaster recovery and business continuity plan as the company has locations on Cape Cod, which are susceptible to power outages from inclement weather. With Votacall's hosted VoIP solution, the entire insurance agency is protected from power outages, equipment failures and disaster scenarios.

Earlier this month, Votacall was also selected by Performance Plus, a consumer market research company and focus facility operator, to implement a hosted VoIP PBX communications solution for its offices and facilities across New England.

In November, Votacall delivered a VoIP solution with built in disaster recovery to National Development, a New England-based real estate development and property management firm.
