ConnectSolutions Raises $10 Million to Help Grow CaaS Market

Investors have given ConnectSolutions a vote of confidence. The cloud communications firm from San Francisco recently raised $10 million in funding from Frontier Capital. This large infusion will be put to use helping ConnectSolutions innovate, improve, and provide even better services to its customers for their communication needs across the cloud.

ConnectSolutions helps business users make calls, send instant messages, and web conference across a cloud network. Its UC3 platform for Adobe (News - Alert) Connect and Microsoft Lync is scalable, reliable, and lets the user keep full control of communications and training. It also provides real-time usage data, letting users track trends and manage their global accounts as they go, whenever necessary.

Furthermore, ConnectSolutions also provides Enablement Services, connecting organizations and individuals with industry experts. They help customers find key performance indicators, and help determine best practices for success and rapid adoption. With it, a company can increase productivity and track its success clearly.

The company is partnered with some impressive companies including Adobe, Microsoft, and Cisco (News - Alert). It has even been used by the United States government to address global audiences, and has delivered billions of minutes of web conferencing and collaboration. In short, even though young it has established a track record of success that Frontier believes is poised for growth.

 ConnectSolutions is continually expanding and innovating. Frontier feels that its partnership with ConnectSolutions will help it become a leader in providing managed services for the UCaaS and web conferencing markets. The investment is also a nice shot in the arm for the Communications as a Service (CaaS) market which is attracting investors and customers alike.

ConnectSolutions will continue to be led by its co-founders, Michael Fitzpatrick and Chris Tennant, but will receive the support it needs from Frontier to become one of the leaders among UCaaS and cloud communications providers.

“Over the past several years, we have significantly grown revenues and increased market share through meaningful relationships with technology and channel partners,” says ConnectSolutions CEO Michael Fitzpatrick. “With Frontier’s support and strategic guidance we will accelerate that growth.”

With such a sizable investment this all bodes well for ConnectSolutions and the CaaS as a whole. They are certain a company to keep an eye on.
