TMCnet CaaS Week in Review

It’s that day of the week again! Let’s take a few minutes to reconvene and review the latest developments in the CaaS community.

Logic Solutions has unveiled its SaaS (News - Alert) version of its mobile system Showcase, which includes a mobile catalog, order-taking and content management features. The Showcase solution was launched as a sales force automation system for enterprises, with services like  interactive product catalog, quote creation, order transaction, inventory access, customer lookup, sales material library, merchandise comparison and cross-sell and up-sell suggestions. Logic Solutions latest addition of its mobile system goes along with the recent surge in mobility usage and BYOD trend that has entered the work place.

As the cloud-based revelation begins to spread to every industry, businesses and even their employees have started to request cloud service. Cosentrys’ new Ion Cloud Services now allows its clients to automatically provision personal virtual private data centers online. The series leverages its Vblock support infrastructure to automatically provide enterprises with secure virtual private data centers.

Information Systems Management (ISM), a provider of ERP and CRM business software, has signed a deal with Netsuite, an American software company, which will now enable it to launch a new cloud computing practice. ISM will be able to offer its customers cloud-based management and ERP software to more efficiently run business processes including financial management, customer service, CRM, marketing automation and warehouse and inventory management.

BT (News - Alert) Contact, a contact portfolio from BT Global services, will also be unveiling a new feature, as it is being integrating with the latest contact solutions from Cisco (News - Alert) to help improve its productivity levels and provide new channels its enterprises can reach their customers. The Cisco Packaged Contact Center Enterprise will help BT Contact provide a secure resilient customer interaction management solution that can support up to 400 agents, and lets mangers supervise and monitor that contact center remotely. Cisco SocialMiner will also help BT Contact connect with its customers on forums or social media platforms, which is very important outlet in today’s industries.
