How would you like the idea of chatting with your friend at 30,000 feet? How about getting some entertainment by watching a live performance on YouTube during the flight? What about making some image upload on Facebook (News - Alert) as you fly pass the sailing clouds? Just imagine indulging in all these activities during your next flight and without paying a penny for it.
In just a week, all of these and more will come free for all the passengers travelling Gogo equipped flights, as Gogo and Allstate teamed up to launch a fabulous offer for weekend flyers.
In the partnership, the in-flight connectivity provider is offering passengers 30 minutes of free in-flight Internet access on their smartphones during weekend flights.
The offer starts from September 21. However, the free 30 minute sessions are not applicable for the passengers traveling Gogo equipped Air Canada aircraft.
“We are extremely excited to work with Allstate to offer benefits to all Gogo in-flight Internet users who fly during the weekend. This partnership with Allstate is a great example of the ways in which Gogo is working with leading brands to reach a highly connected audience while they are in the air,” Gogo's chief commercial officer Ash ElDifrawi noted in a statement.
“The partnership with Gogo provides another opportunity for Allstate to be a part of the good in people's lives. Connecting with friends and family while in the air allows Allstate to bring the Good Life to customers and non-customers alike,” senior vice president of e-Business Marketing at Allstate Insurance Company Bob Wasserman noted in a statement.
Recently, Gogo announced that it will soon introduce a 60Mbps system called Ground to Orbit for Virgin America fliers.
